Watch the 90-second Launch Trailer on Rockstar's GTA VI site or use the player above. Rockstar published it on October 15, 2026. The official YouTube description says the footage was captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5. This is a story-led trailer, not a complete list of missions, vehicles or mechanics.

What the footage actually shows

TimeVisible or audible in the official videoWhat it establishes
0:04A waterfront building bears the sign “Brian's Marina.”The named marina appears in the trailer. It does not identify a mission start point.
0:10An automated voice announces a call from Lucia Caminos while a man works around boats.Lucia's name is spoken. The call's place in the story is not established.
0:27Armed figures move through shallow water at dusk.An action scene is shown; the trailer does not identify its mission or playable character.
0:40Jason and Lucia stand beside a red car; Jason's shirt reads “U.S. Army.”Both protagonists appear together. The shirt alone does not date the scene.
0:56A pink biplane crosses a beachfront with colored smoke and a person on its wing.A striking aerial sequence is shown, without a named activity or vehicle model.
1:09A person holds onto a helicopter above a lit city at night. The shot shows an aerial stunt; its story context is not stated.

These times refer to Rockstar's official YouTube upload. They identify frames, not promises that each shot is a separate mission or a repeatable open-world action.

What Rockstar confirms alongside the video

Rockstar names Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos as the leads and describes an easy score that goes wrong, drawing them into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. Its current GTA VI hub still lists November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer's title means it is a launch campaign video; it does not mean the game released on October 15.

The trailer debuts “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar also names Justice as the composers of GTA VI's original score. See the radio, score and album overview or the music hub for the separate radio and album announcements.

Where the scenes connect to the world

The marina sign gives a concrete place to compare with Brian Heder and the Leonida Keys. The night skyline and beachfront belong in a wider discussion of Vice City. Those links provide background from already published pages; they do not assign every trailer shot to an exact map coordinate.

What remains interpretation

  • The video does not establish the order of its scenes. A call from Lucia and Jason's Army shirt do not prove a playable prologue or a flashback.
  • A visible stunt does not by itself confirm a freely repeatable activity, mission name or control scheme.
  • The trailer does not name the red car, biplane or helicopter models. We will add a vehicle only when an official name or a separately reviewable frame and timestamp support it.
  • Music heard in this trailer is a Justice single. It does not identify which radio station, if any, plays the track in-game.
